About Us

My name is Sonia, I am the owner of Gabris Tree Care Ltd and a dedicated tree surgeon with a lifelong passion for arboriculture. I place the health and longevity of trees at the heart of everything I do. Sadly, I encounter tree topping far too often – a harmful practice that not only weakens the tree’s structure but also leads to rot and severe health problems. When asked if a tree can simply be halved to reduce its size, my answer is always clear: absolutely not. Such practices irreparably harm trees. Instead, I employ responsible and sustainable techniques designed to preserve their well-being for years to come.

For trees that are too large, poorly located, or encroaching on structures, I recommend thoughtful solutions, such as replacing them with a more appropriately sized species for the space.

Beyond tree care, my company also specialises in fencing, particularly closeboard fencing – a strong and durable option that offers both security and style for your garden boundaries. Additionally, we provide expert hedge cutting services and are happy to plant new hedges or trees, enhancing your landscape with care and precision.
